Notifier is a fire detection and alarm systems brand within Honeywell’s building safety portfolio. The brand is focused on fire alarm control panels, detection devices, notification equipment, emergency communication systems and connected fire safety solutions for commercial, industrial and public buildings.
Notifier was founded in the United States in 1949 as the NOTIFIER Manufacturing Company. The business started in fire alarm technology and later developed into a wider fire detection and life safety brand, with products used in both conventional and intelligent addressable fire alarm systems. Notifier became part of Honeywell’s fire systems business in 1999.
Notifier has its origins in the United States, with a long-standing base in Northford, Connecticut. Today, Notifier products are used across many international markets as part of Honeywell’s fire and building safety offering.
